Our Iconic Fabric Composition - The Journey
Since our launch, one thing we have very quickly became known for is the buttery soft, stretchy, and extremely high-quality fabric that you guys can’t seem to get enough of. We’ve had dozens of customers tell us that they couldn’t stand to take the scrubs off at the end of the day, and dozens more tell us that they just want to live in them. But what’s the secret to the sauce?
The history behind our proprietary fabric all started in 2011 after our founder Suaad Hamam decided to pursue a career in dental hygiene and work alongside of her husband, a dentist and scrub fabric connoisseur. Suaad would personally care for the upkeep of their medical uniforms, and through over 10 years of washing, ironing, and experience with countless different scrub brands, she developed a good sense for what was high quality and what wasn’t. After experiencing fabrics that weren’t made to last, caused you to overheat in your scrubs, and fabrics that just looked cheap, she set out on the quest to finding the best possible material. It was a long journey, but after an extensive research and over 30 samples, she finally found the one-
19% Rayon
The secret ingredient. Rayon is a beautiful plant derived fabric that is very comparable to silk and linen. This is what gives the scrubs that soft buttery feeling, and keeps them breathable, cooling, and comfortable to wear.
3% Spandex
Known for its elasticity and strength, spandex keeps the scrubs extremely stretchy but also durable. It is resilient and flexible, perfect for allowing you to move swiftly and without restriction.
78% Polyester
Another incredibly high strength and durable material. It resists wrinkles, fading, and shrinkage. It will surely stand the test of time and will withstand aggressive wear and tear, as well as washing. The best part- it keeps the fabric water resistant!
As with all the scrubs in our collection, the material we use is 4-way stretch, breathable, fade resistant, pilling resistant, has 3.5-degree tear strength, and is incredibly soft! It can be washed more than 60 times in 50°C water.
Most importantly, it provides 100% coverage.
