Dear United States Customers,
We regret to inform you that a new law came into effect on August 29, 2025, eliminating the $800 de minimis exemption. This exemption previously allowed packages valued under $800 to enter the U.S. duty-free. With this change, all shipments entering the United States are now subject to import duties and brokerage fees, regardless of the country of origin.
As a Canadian-based business, all of our orders ship from our warehouse in Canada. This means that going forward, every U.S. shipment may now be charged additional border fees, which we unfortunately have no control over. Please note that we do not charge or collect these fees ourselves.
Starting on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. EDT, duties and import taxes will be collected at checkout for all orders shipping to the U.S. This ensures you will see your full order total before completing your purchase.

For all international orders, please check the shipping rates at checkout. Shipping times and shipping rates vary from country to country.
CUSTOMS FEES, DUTIES, & TAXES
The prices within the online store do not include relevant overseas taxes, duties, and other customs charges you may incur on orders outside of Canada. These fees will be covered by you, as the customer. These costs are imposed by your local customs office and are outside of our control. Please familiarize yourself with your country's customs charges and levies prior to placing an order. HazelGotYouCovered is not responsible if customers are not notified by their country's postal authority that items are awaiting payment of customs duties and taxes. For more information on those fees please contact your postal office or local government.
HazelGotYouCovered is not responsible for any parcel(s) a customer refuses to pay customs fees for and will not refund any order which has not been sent back to our facility. HazelGotYouCovered is not held responsible for any fees issued by customs which have not been paid for by the customer. HazelGotYouCovered is not to be held responsible for delays to your shipment due to the carrier or postal holds issued by your country.
If a package is sent back to our warehouse, we will provide a refund on the cost of the items you purchased, but the full cost of shipping the items back to us will be deducted.
DELAYS AND LOST PACKAGES
Once a package has left our warehouse we have very little to no control over it. Please note that any delivery times listed are only estimations. HazelGotYouCovered is not responsible for any delays caused by the carrier, especially during high-volume periods. HazelGotYouCovered can never guarantee a delivery date.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Packages may get lost at the hands of the shipping company, and this is completely out of our control. HazelGotYouCovered is not liable for missing parcels due to errors on the customer's or carrier's part.
Please ensure that you carefully fill out your full address and full name at checkout, including your first and last name to prevent any postal delays. We are not responsible for any package that comes back as undeliverable.
If an undeliverable package is sent back to our warehouse, we will provide a refund on the cost of the items your purchased, but the full cost of shipping the items back to us will be deducted.
