Not same design as on picture

The end of the shirt sleeves should have some kind of plastic or material that would prevent the sleeves from falling over the hands, but it was missing. Cheap material and not the same design as the picture shows

Hi Nene, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We regret to hear that this top didn’t meet your expectations. You went with our Orchid Top, which is a lovely option offered at a heavily discounted final sale price as it is being discontinued. As mentioned in its product description, the Orchid Top in the color Navy Blue is available in two sleeve end options - open ended and close ended with an elastic; and if you have a specific preference, to please send us an email with your order number and your choice at hazelapparel@hotmail.com.

Since then, we’ve launched the Orchid 2.0—our updated version featuring several thoughtful improvements, including a redesigned elastic cuff to help keep the sleeves comfortably in place. We truly value your input and will continue striving to improve with every release.

Beautiful top

It’s very flexible and comfortable at work it’s even flattering and everybody is asking me about it . I don’t have to wear anything underneath for my hands or even to cover the short scrub anymore !! I am thinking to get another one !! Keep going

Thank you so much for this beautiful review, Engy! We’re beyond happy to hear that the Orchid 2.0 has been such a comfortable and flattering fit for you—and that it’s making your workdays a little easier. We totally understand the struggle of having to layer a longsleeved top under shortsleeved scrubs, so we're really glad you found these to be a solution to that. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to serving you again soon

Orchid 2.0 top

I bought 4 Orchid 2.0 tops in size L. They are very beautiful, and catered to modesty. However they are very small and tight on me, although I have always worn size L and all my clothes from other brands are size L and fut really well. The arms length are short even though am only 5"7. I kept them because I don't want to go through the hustle of returning them. I am sure upon viewing this review the response of Hazel would be I should refered to the size chart , which I did, but still my items don't fit.

Hi Myriam,

Thank you so much for your honest feedback. We completely understand that when shopping online, the item you receive may not fit the way you expected it to, especially because you are unable to try it on beforehand.

We want you to be fully satisfied with your order. If you’re open to it, we’d love to offer you the option to return your tops for refund, as hassle-free as possible. Simply send us an email at hazelapparel@hotmail.com with your full name and order number, and we’ll provide you with a return label. All you’ll need to do is drop the package off at your nearest UPS location.

Thank you again for your support, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything else we can do to make this right.

The best scrubs for women, on every level! 2/2

Part 2/2: And also, they cost less than figs and all those other trendy companies, especially when there’s a sale or discount, you’re getting them for the same price almost as the meh ones you can buy at a local uniform store, barely/insignificantly higher.
Additionally, the styling and fabric quality is very reminiscent of Figs style, but if Figs were to make more modest and more affordable designs (and yeah, I’m more than okay with them staying in their lane but just fyi reference). Since I bought my first 2 pairs, there have also been 2 other modest scrubs companies pop up, and I’ve had a friend purchase from them as well, but I didn’t find any designs from other companies to my taste as much as (even repeating the same design purchase would be worth it lol) Hazel’s, and frankly they’re like way even more expensive than Hazel’s original prices, so why bother if your priorities are ‘on a budget’ > ‘changing it up’? Even when I search for scrubs again periodically over the last few years, this pattern has not changed. I’ve just graduated and am now purchasing my next set of scrubs, also from Hazel as that has become my standard!, since sadly I now need to wear navy blue for my residency. I never got to try the long sleeve regular-tops because of specific less-popular color codes I’ve had to follow that weren’t unavailable, but they look cute and I’d have to loved to try them otherwise. The new stuff Hazel comes out with like skirts and dresses are also really cute, I just don’t personally feel like going that far off from “typical” in the workplace (at least how early I am in my career and where my confidence is now lol), but especially for people doing more boutique ish healthcare who are all about dressing up to clinic, or typically wear skirts and dresses in their regular clothes, I’m sure they’d love them! I’ve had younger hijabi friends ask me about “how did you figure out scrubs” whenever it’s their first time to purchase for schooling and they quickly realize how overwhelming it is, and I always go on about how Hazel is the best, and in case there’s any other newbies out there or new hijabis or anyone else tryna find more modest scrubs, figured I’d write this in-depth review of my personal story for y’all. And also to thank Hazel Got You Covered and show my appreciation for all the efforts to create and develop this brand when you started off yourself as another healthcare worker in the same predicament, jazakallah khair. It takes a lot to be the one to stand up and make the initiative for everyone else to benefit, and I pray you reap all the benefits you deserve financially from the business and with your rewards from Allah. Thank you for bringing us good-quality, chic, durable, various options at good prices, that are so good at balancing modesty and still looking good for maximum confidence. Thank you always for the great and quick customer service to troubleshoot things as well. To the friends who’ve told me “omg but that’s still so expensive” I remind them that compared to the entire scrubs online industry, and especially within modest options, it’s still the best and worth a slow-purchases, long-term initiative for those of us with financial situations. At the end of the day you don’t really need 10+ pairs of scrubs to go to work for your career span, 5-6 max is good, plus we all plan on working for years so the material you spend 5 out of 7 days of your life in would be worth it. And of course, we all understandably have our own financial situations, especially when you’re still studying :/ I’ve been there too so I get it (just bought only my 3rd pair 4 years into wearing scrubs), but what you see/read from this business is truly what you get, Hazel Got Y’all Covered fr. 💜

Sarah, we are absolutely speechless — thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for this incredibly moving review. Your story, support, and thoughtful reflections mean more than words can express. You’ve captured so much of what Hazel GotYouCovered was built on: the frustration of not finding modest, affordable, and flattering options, and the belief that our workwear should empower us, not limit us.

Knowing that our scrubs have been with you throughout dental school journey — and that they’ve become your standard — is an honour we don’t take lightly. And your duas, kind words, and encouragement brought tears to our eyes. Jazakillah khair for your sincerity and your prayers — we truly pray we can continue to serve incredible women like you with integrity and purpose.

Wishing you nothing but the best as you begin this next chapter of your career.

The best scrubs for women, on every level! 1/2

Part 1/2: I’m not one for writing reviews, I usually find something I like then move on with my busy life (despite how much I rely on reviews to purchase LOL) but I’ve been using Hazel Got You Covered’s scrubs for the last few years and they have become my ultimate non-negotiable scrubs through dental school and now beginning work. This is about to be a long review, but a full one explaining why Hazel is bottom-line the best. Being a hijabi, I spent hours at a local uniform store (I hate online shopping, I need to feel and try it on to know, and hate the inconvenience of returning/exchanging shipped stuff). Anyway, I spent hours trying to find scrubs at a good price (discovering how expensive scrubs are even at the lower-cost in person stores 💀) and also long shirts to cover my butt. At the time, I settled with what was available, which was of course wearing long sleeves under shirts that would never really cover my butt. And of course, I sized up, I looked through the men’s, etc. There was one long sleeve (buttoned) shirt in the entire uniform store that was exactly top-size, so no extra length, and of course it cost way more than a regular top, I compromised with that too to try to get a long sleeves scrub top. I also initially thought I’d buy figs with a student discount like my entire class did, but they were still so expensive (and not modest anyway!) so I didn't bother to. I lived like that my first year or so of dental school. I also didn't buy 5 pairs of scrubs (so expensive!) my first time and wore sweaters with scrub bottoms, etc to get through my 5-day pre-clinical schedule. Once it was a good time for me to buy another pair of scrubs I wondered if I could look up modest scrubs online. Yeah, Google was saturated with a bunch of random low-quality, questionable stuff (and of course I hate online shopping), as well as websites like SHEIN who are widely known for exploiting slave labor (and Muslim slave labor in shein’s case too). But then I found HazelGotYouCovered, a woman-owned small business which at the time, was like the only modest scrubs company btw. I ordered their joggers and a long top in ciel blue, found them to be so cute, but the top was hard to take on and off with my chest size, and I was worried about oversizing and looking too big (which is why I ordered small in the first place lol), but I risked the annoying exchange, found that sizing up one fit me perfectly without making me look huge either lol (I have a relatively small/slim waist, but broad shoulders and mid-large chest, so I usually have to size up my tops but hate when that makes me look like a box esp as an early 20s y/o :/). They have a clear sizing chart, it’s just more about fit and feel than numbers for me so I had to do a little trial and error first. And of course, once you confirm your size the first time, then you know what to order perfectly for future purchases! Anyway, these scrubs are so perfectly curved to look smooth on you, but not tight or figure-showing like that either. They’re long so it covers your butt if you’re looking for religious/personal modesty, don’t want/can’t have your back exposed when you lean down, extra length top for THOSE FIRST COUPLE DAYS OF YOUR PERIOD (no one ever thinks of that pro lol), and everywhere I go I get compliments. I’d also still wear my old scrubs because we on a budget (and I wasn’t tryna wear ceil blue forever anyway to be investing like that) and I definitely chose which days I’d wear which scrubs depending on what I had that day and if I wanted to look more presentable or didn’t care if I had a meh day like doing lab work (or was starting my period lol). 😂 They look so chic and well-stitched (I’m brown so I know how to tell those things from watching my mom bargain at markets back home), great fabric quality, clean-cut, useful pockets, etc. Also, long sleeves means you don’t have to wear a shirt under for the modest girlies, but I still wear short sleeve cotton shirts/crop tops under, because I sweat and need to wear cotton/undershirts to absorb at my underarms area, if any other “fancy” material is directly on my underarms, no amount of deodorant helps me lol (although I switched to carpe recently and it holds up really well for no odor). So if you’re like me, don’t worry, mine’s have been loose enough to easily fit an undershirt under (and not making me look boxier either). All the Muslim girls (students and professors lol) at my school would ask me where I got them, other girls and guys and patients would compliment at school for how well dressed you are and “omg where did u get those??”. They’re nice if you’re doing boutique healthcare, but they’re also durable and not too fancy for you to feel comfortable and professional for elbows-deep healthcare, public healthcare (as I will be). 1/2

Wow, Sarah — we’re genuinely touched by your incredibly thoughtful and detailed review. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience so openly. Reading your journey from struggling to find affordable, modest, and functional scrubs to feeling confident and seen in our designs is exactly why Hazel GotYouCovered was created. Your words truly mean the world to us — especially knowing how much time and thought you put into your purchase.
As healthcare workers ourselves, we know exactly what you're talking about with your struggle to find scrubs that met all your needs. We too, went through the exact same thing - from being frustrated with the incohesive look of layering under shortsleeves to having to resort to buying scrubs which were visibly too big just so the top could be long enough. We got tired of sacrificing style and comfort for modesty - so we came up with the solution!
We’re so glad our scrubs met your needs for comfort, modesty, and style — from pocket placements to flattering fits that work with your body, not against it.
